We are delighted to announce that the Builders Merchants, Lawsons, have signed a recruitment partnership agreement with AboutTheJob. The agreement will see all 31 current Lawsons affiliated branches advertise job opportunities, on aboutthejob.co.uk, that will span across Beds, Herts, London, Greater London, Essex, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
Making up the 31 Branches are 18 Lawsons sites, 12, AVS Fencing sites and recently acquired Hertfordshire Timber and Building Supplies. All branches will be recruiting via AboutTheJob and job seekers that log on to ATJ can expect to see a variety of vacancies pop up on a regular basis. Roles will include:
- Trade Counter Sales
- Internal Sales
- Yard Operatives
- Forklift Counter Balance Drivers
- HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver
- Office, Admin and Operational personnel.
Operating throughout London and the South East, Lawsons pride themselves on being a professional, knowledgeable, responsive and friendly independent one stop timber, building and fencing merchant.

AboutTheJob has experienced a flurry of new clients signing up since the start of 2021 and this latest partnership has been logged as the biggest partnership agreement in AboutTheJob's 11year history. Commercial Director of ATJ, Ray McKeating, welcomed the news.
