Our Clubhouse caters for breakfast, lunch, snacks, societies, and events. You will be working with the Head Chef, overseeing, and managing the kitchen in the head chef’s absence. As the Sous Chef you will be responsible for preparing and cooking from fresh produce, assisting with menus, training, and leading the team, food safety, stock control and ordering.
Sous Chef Candidate Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills will be needed to assist in the running of the kitchens as well as ensuring health and safety standards are met.
- You must possess the skills and experience to be in charge of the kitchen operations when the Head Chef is absent.
Hours of Work:
This Sous Chef role offers the advantage of being in daytime hours, evening shifts are occasional dependant on functions and societies.
Working 5 days out of 7, 40 hours per week, unless demand dictates some longer hours on occasion.
