Woburn Golf Club is part of the Bedford Estates with three championship golf courses, offering first class hospitality. Catering for individual members, to small gatherings of golfing friends, to larger corporate events for up to 220 guests.
We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our Kitchen Team on a full time basis.
Reporting to the Head Chef and working in a modern kitchen with top quality equipment. Responsibilities would include supporting chefs within the team and ensuring the variety of dishes are prepared and cooked to the quality and high expectations of our customers.
The successful applicant would have the opportunity of maintaining a great work life balance. Working as part of a large kitchen team with structured shifts and flexible hours, working mainly throughout the day with fewer evenings.
Previous experience of working at a similar level is desirable with further training and development offered to support career progression. In return, we would expect a high standard of work, great attention to detail and a genuine commitment to deliver first class food.
As Junior Sous Chef, you will require excellent communication skills, and work well within a large team to further enhance our friendly and hard-working kitchen culture. Due to the location of Woburn Golf Club, you will require your own transport.
