Job Description


  • Establishment of cleaning standards and procedures and ensure adherence to these standards
  • Oversee and managing the cleaning activities of a team of six cleaners
  • Scheduling and assigning specific duties to cleaners and ensure they are carried out expertly
  • Ensure sufficient stocks of all cleaning consumables/materials and place orders for re-stocking
  • Control and monitor the usage of cleaning materials to ensure minimum wastage
  • Inspection of cleaning equipment on a regular basis and recommend replacements as necessary
  • Keep clean specific areas of building i.e. Reception, Lounge, Corridors, Toilets, Litter in Courtyards and seating in Courtyards
  • Be personally responsible for the cleanliness of specific areas of building i.e. as above in previous point, and any ad hoc requirements


  • Post holder will report to the Property Manager and will liaise regularly with tenants and other on-site staff


  • Must possess good communication skills in speaking, writing and listening
  • Must have good interpersonal attributes – must be able to get along easily with others
  • Must be excellent in terms of organisation and co-ordination of people and activities
  • Must be able to make decisions and be proactive
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work as part of a team, and to lead a team
  • Must have relevant experience in cleaning and supervision/management of cleaning procedures


£21,840 p.a. for 40 hours per week (£10.50 per hour)

20 days holiday per annum plus Statutory Bank Holidays

Access to stakeholder pension scheme and/or Auto Enrolment at appropriate time


8 hours per day Monday to Friday, working 08:00am -12:00 pm and 15:30pm -19:30pm daily
